How to Achieve a Hallucinogenic/Trippy Theme
I want to discover hallucinogenic tones to incorporate int my work therefore I am researching hallucinogenic music.

“Swinging Sixtes”
In the 1960s the music scene was heavily dominated by acid and hallucinogenic influenced music, psychedelic rock bands took over. I would love to take inspiration of the vibe and tones used to create psychedelic rock synthesisers and use effects like reverb to manipulate spaces to create a hallucinogenic experience.
I have been listening and learning the art of the swinging sixtes era of music in my own time and what I have learned is that its to music orientated for my sound composition.
Psychedelic Effects Binaural Beats
Binaural beats are a sound illusion with two different frequency tones one in each ear, I can use binaural beats to have a psychoactive effect on the brain.
Instead of using tones from the swinging sixtes I want to research more in-depth about psychedelic binaural beats to apply to my work.
I will structure psychedelic binaural beats into parts of the journey of my sound composition.
Analysis, the powerful low end frequencies and dark whooshing subs pulsing in each ear creates a distorted effect on the mind and creates a mood of unsure panic. I really like approach and would like to apply this technique into my sound composition.
Analysis, the unnatural tones and sounds in a reverberated space really create an immersive experience for the mind, this is exactly the intent I am aiming for in my project. There is so much inspiration on YouTube, I just search psycho binaural beats and can discover many. I am excited to create my own.
