I have been focusing on the arrangement and composition however not all experimentation have gone to plan.
I am happy with my newly added compositions however feel unsatisfied with the arrangement.
I feel arrangement needs a better execution. With better planning and furthering my research for inspiration, I feel I can have more successful outcome.
Currently the arrangement of my piece it begins in a nightmare and further delves into dream state. The sounds of London being heard are incorporating into the consciousness of the nightmare furthermore the piece developed into a dreaming state, picturing the sounds of indoors and home. While in the dream state, the unescapable outdoor sounds of the weather and the continuous airplanes and sirens are to represent that these sounds will always be heard from a dream state of homelessness.
Nightmare
I have been experimenting with the arrangement, bring new sounds in at points I feel are impactful however its not a true representation of my imagination therefore I am unsatisfied.
Dreaming State
Using alchemy I’ve recorded more composition, further developing the piece. I have selected presets I found that empower the feeling of dreaming which has been very successful.
Transitioning Reality into a Dream
I have made a successful transition with the use of logic plug in effects. This transition successfully nails the sonic feeling of change on consciousness.
Echo
Echo was a great tool to achieve feeling of confusion.
EQ
Boosting the frequency that causes a ‘hit feeling’ in the swoosh gives more power to the sound.
Gain
I have used gain to achieve more full and powerful sound.
Bass Amp
Bass amp was an idea I had to again achieve more power in the sound.
