I used hs10 to field record sounds around London to use and edit for my soundscape.
Sounds Recorded
- Tube arriving from perspective of awaiting
- Tube dispatching from perspective of awaiting
- Inside the Tube setting off and arriving at next station
- Tube doors opening and closing
- Passing by traffic
- Elevator doors opening and closing
- Inside elevator floor to floor
- Banging sounds in elevator
- Footsteps into elevator
All these different sounds came together from an empty project in Logic to a final piece I was happy with.
DAW Work
With every project comes with more experience of the DAW software, in this case I dd the whole project working in Logic Pro X. I felt the most confutable way or working and bringing my idea in my head to life using Logic. I wish looking back I used protools and expanded my knowledge however sue to time left I didn’t feel commutable with my skills using Pro Tools for the outcome I wanted.

My work was folded and colour coded and had every audio file on different track channels therefore it was easy to make changes and navigate which I learnt would be important factor to the success from the mistake of not doing these things on previous projects.

Plug Ins & Audio Manipulation
I manipulated all audio I planned to manipulate to create the hallucinogenic theme in the soundscapes journey. Plug Ins and audio manipulation methods like reverb, distortion, echo, pitch changing etc… worked really well bringing the hallucinogenic theme to life.
All plugins was stock I would like to future my knowledge in external plugins in future projects for a more creative outcome.
Final Outcome
I am extremely proud of the art I created for my final outcome of my soundscape. I brought an exciting idea to life which 3 years ago I would never have of believed I would have been capable of so seeing my progression only excites me more for the future.
