Rita’s Practice/Focus
- Sculpture, Sound and Performance
Rita’s work combines the artistic practice of sculpture and sound through performance-based material.

Her sculptures are the invention of objects that voice themselves in a musical instrumentation way that materially has been carefully considered to have the desired effect on the sound.
Sensory perception of space and time are transmitted information received from the process of artistic creation. A created reality that sculpturally evolves from the sense of vision while the sound also informs and enhances the reality built by the vision because sound and material can be related for example the difference between the sound of wood and metal by listening our brain knows. Sculpture of vision and the tonality of sound create a space, a new realm that the performances become a part of.
Rita’s work accesses a state described as meditative where the physical actions alter the space where performance pressure turns into power. To create art in time and space gives a godly perception.
