Everybody Hears the World Different
My Own Philosopher Thoughts
All life forms have a unique perception of the world because all life forms’ ability to hear varies in capability. A dog has a different hearing experience from a cat who has a different experience from a human. Even humans have different experiences from each other humans because of hearing loss. The question is what/who/is there anything that can truly perceive a world of true reality? Could time be a perception that we believe to be reality but is inexistent and our understanding of time will become clear after death? Time’s ability to be preserved fast with excitement and slow through boredom would explain that time is actually non-existent however this is beyond our comprehension in our human consciences life form.
Conclusion
Understanding the philosophical theory of sound and its unique way of perceiving time has and will further develop ideas for how I will create my exhibition about the auditory perception of time. Unfortunately, I found difficulty reading and taking in the information in the text however small parts I did understand were beneficial to the success of the project.
